Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy (OT) is a healthcare profession that helps people of all ages do the things they need and want to do in their daily lives. Whether someone is recovering from an injury, managing a disability, or facing developmental or mental health challenges, occupational therapists work with them to improve their ability to perform everyday activities—also called “occupations.”
These activities can include anything from getting dressed, cooking, going to school or work, or participating in hobbies. OTs use a combination of hands-on techniques, adaptive tools, and personalized strategies to help people become more independent and confident in their routines.
In short, OT is about supporting people in living life to the fullest—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a therapeutic approach that incorporates interactions with horses to promote emotional growth and healing. This experiential form of therapy is designed to address a wide range of mental health and developmental issues by leveraging the unique bond between humans and horses. EAP is facilitated by licensed mental health professionals and equine specialists, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants.
